When are the church’s services?
Our worship service begins at 9:30 AM, but feel free to come for free coffee, snacks, and fellowship in the church basement beginning at 9:00 AM. A breakdown of the morning’s schedule is as follows:
9:00 AM – Coffee and fellowship time in church basement
9:30 AM – Worship service begins
10:10 AM – Children are dismissed for nursery/children’s church
10:50 AM – Church service ends
11:00-11:30 AM – Adult and children’s Sunday school classes
11:35 AM -12:15 PM – Children’s singing time
What is worship like?
We sing a combination of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. Our worship typically includes singing, Scripture, responsive readings, prayer, and a sermon. Services typically last about 75 minutes. People from all faith backgrounds are welcome in our services.
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable! Church is not about what you wear.
What will the morning look like for my children?
They will be with you for the singing part of our worship. No children’s care is provided during that time. Children are actively involved in worship, and often help to lead it. During the sermon, children ages five through fifth grade are invited to participate in children’s church. After the worship service, children ages three through grade twelve are invited to participate in Sunday school. For pre-K and K, we use the Shine curriculum from MennoMedia. For elementary ages, we use Summit Ministries Mission 2:20 curriculum. Our youth class is currently studying a book called Adventures with the Anabaptists. After Sunday school, an additional children’s singing time is held, ending around 12:15 PM.
When is nursery care available?
We welcome babies to be involved in worship with their families. Nursery care is available during the sermon time, for children aged birth to five years. No nursery care is provided during the Sunday school hour. All staff who work with children have undergone child safety training and background checks. A changing/sleeping/nursing room is available throughout the whole morning.
What Sunday school options are available for adults?
There are two adult Sunday school classes. One is a sermon discussion group, and the other follows the Renew curriculum.
Is the church ADA accessible?
Yes, an elevator provides access to the sanctuary and basement. We also offer hearing assistance devices, as needed.
Do you ever have fellowship meals?
Yes! If your visit falls on the second Sunday of the month, you are invited to stay after the service for a fellowship meal. Please feel free to stay, even if you have not brought any food.
Are you affiliated with a particular denomination?
We are affiliated with LMC – a fellowship of Anabaptist churches. However, our members come from a variety of backgrounds. All are welcome! For more information on LMC, please click here.
